Moving Truck?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the best way to transport/move from Pattaya to Chiang Mai? And how much it costs?

Load is about the size of a pick up truck, including a motorcy

Thanks.

You could phone this guy for a quote. Name of Bung Wung. 0817428107. One of the larger trucks on Sukhumvit road but his card says he also has other vehicles available. His English seems pretty good.

If it is any indicator i used a large truck from the same place for 340 kilometres house moving trip. Cost of 6,000 Baht + paying 4 people 200 Baht each to load and same for unload at either end.

If a mod needs to remove the phone number I'll happily PM it to you.

In the bigger towns in the provinces, you see flat-bed, 6-wheel trucks with 'for rent' signs. These trucks may be hauling bricks one day and packing chickens the next but would probably be the best bet. I am sure that they exist in the Pattaya area but you may need to ask around or keep your eyes peeled for them. They aren't specifically removals trucks so you better make sure that stuff is loaded, compacted and tied down as it is a rough ride in the back. Maybe the driver and a couple or three helpers would do the job for around 10000 baht plus.
