Thai PBS continues to air its controversial show, but is open to opinions
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Some 20 people rallied at the Thai PBS station Friday afternoon calling for the next episode of the "Tob Jote Thailand" show to be taken off air.

From Monday, this show has been airing discussions on the country's constitutional monarchy. The guest speakers, so far, have included former foreign minister Surakiart Sathirathai, anti-monarchist Thammasat University lecturer Somsak Jeamteerasakul, former palace police chief Pol General Vasit Dejkunjorn and social critic Sulak Sivaraksa.

Friday's programme is scheduled to be a continuation of Thursday night's show, which featured a debate between Sulak and Somsak.

During its news programme in the evening, the TV station said it would provide a "special" slot today for people to voice their opinions. However, it did not specify the time or say what people have to do to join.
