Dengue Fever Outbreak

Featured Replies

How concerned are individuals concerning the apparent outbreak of dengue fever throughout the whole of thailand and what precautions are you taking to avoid this disease?

supposedly raw papaya leaves made into a tea are supposed to cure it by causing blood platelet production from certain nutrients stimulating the bone marrow.

No idea if it works but common belief in some tropical countries like India

Try Jaico repellent. It's pricey but you only need a few dabs/rolls of it.

Like most people i keep my fingers crossed for ten seconds then hope for the best.

You simply cant avoid every mozzie

The dengue mosquitoes bite all day and all night all year round. If you live here full time, there is not much you can do except hope for the best. I have not contracted it in more than two decades and I do not know a lot of people that have, but it is always a possibility.

Rob at Sausage king swears by the papaya leaves he just got over it with the juice of them
