She has long as it takes for the yellows, and their sponsors, to orchestrate another coup...

It is. I'm not.

You would think the horse trainers would know by now not to be illegally doping their horses so that they don't get disqualified after winning a race.

But the horse trainers still haven't figured that out yet.

Did you hear that from Jatuporn?

History.

History tells us Jatuporn is the one that has been spouting coup coup every other month for the last 4 years.

It's not about what people say. It's about what people do.

Indeed, and despite all his spouting about a coup is right around the corner, no "people do".

Which is why a coup has nothing to do with this nor any of the other dozens of situations that Jatuporn piped up with "coup, coup" like a pigeon. rolleyes.gif

Anyway, as for whether or not she completes her term, it is contingent upon if she illegally concealed assets and not, as jbrain highlights a few posts up, armed thugs burning Bangkok and provincial capitals..

Fruit of the poisoned tree.

Nope.

Do some research, and educate yourself.

If she beats the concealed assets rap, then what's her biggest threat after that?

No matter who is running the P.Ms. job is beyond anything we posters can do.

Apart from sme involvement in government activities, the nice thing about being a P.M. is that you are in the spotlight.

Yingluck takes that oportunity to promote herself with maybe MORE than the average trip abroad, Avoids Questions as much as possible, leaving her cabinet to control-she delegates most of her work to get the free time for her most important role------Photo ops as much as possible, also the promotion of Thai silk which she GLADLY does wearing every new design and pattern this is normally a good thing, but this fits the oportunity she has, and is just up her street as we say.

Let me please run the full 4 years, if not I will lose the travel and outfits, and other perks I get for free.

Advice she gets from other outsde agents are welcome as she is so busy to catch up with all things happening.

I do wish she could be independant of family interference, and do truly the things she claims-that is to benefit the people.

Well, it is starting to look as if there is something wrong in the House of Shinawat. This talk of Yaowapa being a replacement for Yingluck halfway through her term is surely not something that Mr Abhisit and Suthep have conjured up?

Funny that, she might be removed from office for an 'honest mistake' when in reality she should have been impeached within the first 6 months for being a clear proxy for a criminal.

With all the corruption going on in Thailand and their investigating that? Of course it is politically motivated that is why.

.

Wasn't Abhisit's term also supposed to be 4 years? What happened there?

Nope.

Correct, his term was supposed to be 3 years, not 4 years, as he was fulfilling the term began by Samak.

However, his 3 year term was cut short by the Red Shirt Riots of 2010.

You know full well that there have been factions pushing for a coup since YS day 1. What do you think Pitak Siam was? No point shooting the messanger.

The Hipocrisy if her brother has her replaced. What is the difference between that and the courts or a coup?

That issue was one of two mentioned here:

Yingluck's Job May Be On The Line Over Two Hot Issues

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/626910-yinglucks-job-may-be-on-the-line-over-two-hot-issues/

The other issue still pending is her failing to act on the illegal issuance of a new passport to her brother.

Additionally, as per thread:

Yingluck's Government Faces Three Key Challenges

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/626122-yinglucks-govt-faces-three-key-challenges/

which addresses the threats to her continuance as PM and they include:

Her brother's disappointment in her performance.

Her being pushed into the amnesty bill controversies.

Pacifying her Party's MP's over the allocation of the trillions of baht budgeted for various projects.

Probably shinawatra silk.

Well, it's not really up to her how long she gets to run the front office, right? :giggle:

I doubt it is up to you either

.

What is politically motivated about [alleged] lying about a million dollars, U.S.?

Seems she either lied or she didn't.

Is every [alleged] crime committed by a politician automatically labeled "politically motivated" when charges are pursued?

Do police only pursue murderers and let burglars go un-pursued because their crime is less serious?

.

There's no need to shoot the "messanger" Jatuporn as he already shoots himself in the foot with tremendous frequency.

How much traction did Pitak Siam get? The generals ignored his calls.

As said, no "people do".... even though those that listen to Jatuporn's repeated rhetoric religiously and take his yacking at face value might think differently. I hope you don't fall into that category.

The point is she was voted in. The reds favourite argument .... but but Abhisit/Dems

I beg you to let me soak Thailand for as much as possible before my 4 year term is up. I have to get while the getting is good, you never know when you will get another opportunity to fill your pockets, and mess up a country at the same time. cheesy.gif

I rather expect that the rooms in the officers mess are being prepared as we speak. You know, ready for the meeting after the Prime Minister has been removed from office. No doubt after the usual 'persuasion' (ultimatum) Mr Abhisit will reluctantly agree to form a government......
