Upon my return next winter I want to go to Siem Reap with my gf. I hope to fly to bangkok and then take the bus from there to Siem Reap and then repeat the process upon our return. I need some information about the bus to and from Sien Reap such as the schedule, the costs, and any other pertinent info such as crossing the border and any things to consider before crossing such as proper currencies and paperwork,etc. Any info along these lines would be much appreciated.

Does Thailand have a winter?....or are you referring to next nov/dec/jan/feb; in which case aren't you being a little premature asking about schedules and costs.

A lot can change in a year......you may even have a new g/f who prefers to go to Hanoi .

I think Australia has a different idea of winter than you do.
