Drunk Punks Shoot At Pattaya Cops At Local Pub
PATTAYA:--A gang of young men on motorbikes sprayed gunfire in front of a pub on Pattaya Third Road, scattering several police officers who were investigating a report of an assault on the pub’s security guard. One bystander was shot in his arm. The police pickup truck was also damaged.

PATTAYA – March 21, 2013 [PDN]; at 3:30 a.m., a police inspector reported that a gang of motorbikers had fired a gun in front of a pub at a crowd of people that included police officers. The incident occurred in front of the Drink Pattaya pub, third Pattaya road, Moo 10 Tambon Nong Preu, Amphur Banglamung.

The report was received by Pol. Lt. Phootthaphong Cheunchom, investigation officer on duty, Pattaya police station, Chonburi province. He was notified of the shooting by Pol. Lt. Thanongsak Inphadoong, Deputy Inspector, Pattaya police station.

Deputy Inspector Pol. Lt. Thanongsak was responding to an earlier report of a fight at the pub. He was with several inspector police officers and the volunteer police, totaling 5 officers, when the shooting occurred.

Everyone scattered when the random shooting erupted, and only one bystander was injured. Two vehicles were also hit by bullets, including a police pickup truck. The injured victim was identified as Mr. Warinthorn Chutiphanmaneerat, age 20. He was shot in his right arm and was sent to Bangkok-Pattaya hospital.

Police run for cover during Pub Shooting in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Police and Police Volunteers ran for cover as they were caught up in a shooting incident at the front of a South Pattaya Pub in the early hours of Thursday.

Just after 3am Pattaya Police were called to the Clink Pub located at the Southern end of Pattaya Third Road to deal with a fight involving the Pub’s security guards and a group they were having trouble ejecting from the venue.

Earlier two groups of men were fighting inside the club and after the guards successfully ejected one group, the other group were told to leave but decided they wanted to stay.

Police and Police Volunteers arrived and stood outside the pub with the group. Seconds later 6 to 7 men on motorbikes were spotted and one of the men, who appeared intoxicated, produced a gun and shouted he was not scared of Police. He then opened fire
