Sheryl Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I'm planning a trip to Phuket 1st week of May, looking for peace & quiet & good snorkeling so was thinking of Koh Raya...anyone been there recently who can advise on accomdation and current coral conditions? I will be traveling with an Asian friend so a beach without too many nud_e/semi-nud_e farangs would be preferable. Also, I understand there is a 9 AM boat to the island but will not be able to arrive in Phuket before noon and prefer not to stay overnight on the mainland, do any of the resorts on Koh Raya have their own speedboat?
