March 21, 201313 yr Takes time for the officers to use their yellow highlighting pens to highlight the pertinent information on the copies you submit: your passport, your address verification, your bankbook, your bank letter. Save them and yourself at least a minute by doing it for them in advance! The expression of consternation is amusing when they pick up the highlighter and there's nothing left to highlight. But as for preemptive stamping, now--don't even THINK about it!
March 21, 201313 yr Funny idea, but I wouldn't do it. I really don't think they'd appreciate it. At all.

March 22, 201313 yr I tried to get the New York Consulate to place a stamp on all of my expired O-A visas so that they would not have to page though my whole passport to find the current one when I went through Immigration ......... My request was met with wonderment on why I would want such a thing..........
March 22, 201313 yr I got my 90 day report done yesterday, there are 7 STAMPS on a 1/3 of an A4 page.....unbelievable. Edited March 22, 201313 yr by ROBINPATTAYA
March 22, 201313 yr People can do as they please, but I doubt if they will see it as either beneficial or amusing....... especially if you highlight the wrong thing.
March 22, 201313 yr Not something I'd bother with. I'll wait for someone to try this and report back that they were sent away to return with 'clean' copies.
