Cost Of Work Permit Etc

Featured Replies

I can get a work permit but my employer wants me to pay for it (please no comments here about that). What fee can I expect to pay?

Any other expenses? If I get non imm visa and travel monthly abroad will I have to pay a fee per reentry, or just get a multiple entry nin imm visa (1,900 baht?)

I am trying to assess any other unexpected costs here

Thank you!

Work permit costs:

3 month 750 baht

6 month 1500 baht

1 year 3000 baht

100 baht application fee

Visa 2,000 baht for 3 month entry

Visa 5,000 baht for one year of 3 month entries (if available)

Extension for one year 1,900 baht if available

Re-entry permit for single trip 1,000 baht

Multi re-entry permit valid for current stay 3,800 baht

Wayned en lopbori3 just wrote down the prices of getting the work permit and the visa.

But is your employer asking for paying all the costs to get these?

For a visa extension of a farang with work permit, the company needs Thai staff. These staff need to pay social security and tax. You need to pay social security and tax.

And you must have a minimum income. Social security and income tax are depending on your and Thai staff salaries.

If you're employer wants you to pay it all, you have to do some calculations.
