maybe you should go to a portal like flickr and search there for photos tagged Ayutthaya that gives you an idea what is possible.

i would say there is plenty to see in Ayutthaya.

are you familiar with the concept of the "golden hour"? the right light is the most important part.

Atutthaya is worth a visit whether you're a photographer, a Buddhist or neither.

IMO no comparison to Angkor Wat, if you have to choose between the two head there first, definite must-see and not just a once in a lifetime.
