Double Or Triple Entry Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

if I apply for a double entry or triple entry tourist visa with the view of getting the 30 day extensions to get the max amount of time in the country. Can I book my return airline ticket with the 30 day extensions taken into account or would immigration look negatively at this.

Having a tourist visa means you don't even need to show a return ticket,so no worries on that front.

And that's only ever to satisfy the airlines, immigration won't worry that's for sure.

It depends on the Embassy/Consulate where you apply for the visa. Some Embassies are very strict about tickets, some aren't. It would help if the OP stated where he is applying.

I've never in my life been asked by the consulate here in the UK for proof of travel.

That's why I asked the question! If it had been Amsterdam the answer might have been different!
