Motorbike theft gang arrested by Police in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Nongprue Police announced the arrest of 5 people on Wednesday accused of being involved in a motorbike theft ring operating mostly in the East Pattaya area. Police Colonel Somnook, the Nongprue Police Chief held a press conference on Wednesday to announce the arrest of the men and the seizure of 9 stolen motorbikes.

The case began with the arrest of Khun Grisadar aged 20 earlier in the day who was stopped at a checkpoint and later checks revealed he was driving a stolen motorbike. He claimed to have purchased the bike from a man known as Khun Tanasak aged 25.

His address was found and a search warrant for the premise was obtained from the Court.
