I like to build some acoustic guitars but customs made a lot of problems when I tried to import some basswood which is a very cheap wood but we could not find the Thai name so anybody here who has experience importing the wood only to build my own acoustic ? The crazy thing is that when I ordered some basswood in China customs told my wife that we needed papers from the Chinese seller to make the import legal but also they told that importing a ready made FAKE branded guitar is no problem at all ! Because we not know what the Thai name of basswood is this was a huge problem ( money solves of course every thing ) but is there a way to get without being screwed by Thai customs the things I like to import ? I not want to avoid paying normal fees but nobody seems to know how to do and the suggestion that it was more easy to import a fake guitar is of course one of these Thai things that you only can understand if you are Thai
