Bangkok, Humidity V Pollution ?

Featured Replies

Since we moved into a high level apartment it became clear that 9/10 days Bangkok is covered in a thick haze, Today is almost white out

Can anyone tell me is this due to the humidity or just straight up pollution?

It seems to me a lot of both.

It seems to me a lot of both.

You mean like a pollution slurry? It does make great sunsets

Its lovely to see what you are breathing is it not?

I think it's a bit of both...

Pollution and humidity.

I currently read 20% humidity on my device which is low, but not uncommon at this time of the year in Bangkok.

Its pure pollution.

Come out to the suburbs and you can see it hanging over BKK like a pall, especially at this time of year when there's no rain to wash away the dust. Some days you can't even see BKK at all...

Its a lot worse up in Chiang Mai which is why I here breathing the "clean" air sick.gif

It's been dry these last days, so it must be pollution.. I see the same from my apartment (26th Floor)..

I clean my car every second day, the amount of soot and dust that gets accumulated on it is amazing even it sits parked in the condo's car park..

You know there is a funny thing about this.

I have ashtma and have had issues with breathing western countries. For some reason the air in Bangkok makes me feel like my lungs have double the capacity. Pollution / Humidity / Haze/ etc. whatever it is, it does wonders for me.
