PATTAYA:--Many millions of Baht’s worth of damage is thought to have been caused as a fire took hold of a newly-opened Lift production facility located on Highway 36 in the Nong Pla Lai area early on Saturday Morning.

Khun Pooneart aged 33, lives and works at the AKE Lift Factory and was awoken by the sounds of multiple explosions from the ground floor of the factory which stores a number of combustible materials such as paints, lubricating oils and lighting used in the construction of Lifts.

Big Warehouse Fire Causes 1 Billion THB Damage
PATTAYA:A warehouse in Pattaya containing elevator-installing equipment caught fire at night and burned for three hours, before the blaze was controlled by 10 fire trucks. Damages were estimated at more than 1 billion THB.

ANGLAMUNG – April 13, 2013 [PDN]; At 2 a.m., a report of a fire burning a warehouse was received by Pol. Col. Chatchapol Phattarasiriporn, head of the detective department, Banglamung,Chonburi. More than 10 fire trucks from Nongprue and Pattaya were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was burning in a warehouse located on route 36 Rd., Kratinglai-Rayong, soi Bankrag 3, moo 4, Nongplalai, Banglamung, Chonburi. The warehouse was an elevator installation company named AKE, Ake May net mount, located on 3 rais of property on route 36 Road.

The fire started from the inside of the warehouse, in the office at the ground floor, which was used to store paint, big motors, wires, and other elevator installing equipment.

At the time there was strong wind, which made the fire stronger. Firefighters had to spray water to protect the aluminum and iron steel structure, and to prevent the fire from spreading to houses nearby.
