kaspercat Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 I have the 500 gb in my Mac book pro and it does help quite a bit. Most of the larger HD spins at 5400. With the ssd on board it loads files quite a bit faster than even a 7200 rpm drive. Regardless, it is slower than as full SSD. It's still a good trade off.
