Transferring Motorcycle

Featured Replies

Can anyone please tell me what documents I need from the seller to transfer a motorcycle into my wife's name? There are discrepancies between some earlier posts on the subject.

Take a ride over to the land office, ask and pick the paperwork up at the same time.

Take the seller to the land office and get it all done there, if you need more papers, they will tell you both. Do not pay for the bike until the papers are transferred.

Thanks for those suggestions. As the bike is to be transferred into my wife's name and as she is going to have to take time off work to do the tranfer I was trying to find out what documents were needed to save her making two trips. My Thai is probably not good enough to for me to take in the correct information fom the office.

An off topic speculative post removed.

Go on facebook if you are on it and join a group chiangmai motorcycle buy and sell once you have joined click on the files tab and hey presto you can print off the files no need to leave the house.
