Barbershops

Featured Replies

So I was sitting in the barbershop today getting my normal buzz cut of whats left of my hair and a smile came to my face. I love the fact that Thailand still has traditional barbershops. Back in the states I needed to places that were either half salons half barber shops, or cheap cutz inc, or some other place i truly didnt enjoy. I really enjoy walking into a place where everything is basic and they give you good service, good atmosphere, and a good shave upon request.

Just felt like sharing on of the things I truly appreciate about Thailand.

Ethnic neighborhoods in downtown cities still have these stateside, but it's true none take care of you for two bucks anymore and never with a free shoulder/neck massage thrown in for free at the end!

I actually bought a buzzer and have the GF do it for me, the #3's perfect and I figure it'll average out to under a quarter per week, especially since I don't tip her.

Of course you have no idea what she is shaving into the back of your head.biggrin.png
