Last year I renewed my dependency Non-O visa (I have a daughter) by showing Baht 400,000 in my bank account which only needed to be there for a day. I'm now told it's B500,000 and needs to be there for 3 months. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Dependent or parent of a Thai. The 500k is for dependent parent of a foreign student in school here and that is what requires 3 months in account (30 days first year).

Parent of a Thai child is still 400k and no time in account requirement.
