Shrubbery
Please can anybody tell me if Foodland on Sukhumvit Soi 11 still sell Yorkies Black Pudding. From memory they used to stock other products from Yorkies also.

Shrubbery
General quality or specifically Black Pudding. I tried a couple of others but Yorkies was the best by far.

breadbin
It's the thought of what goes into black pudding that renders me unable to eat it.

HarryMilton
Quality has deteriorated since the boss passed away. Yes, I've noticed that too, black pudding and their sausages are relatively tasteless now. Seen the price of their pork pies now? Used to be expensive at 75 baht but now they're either 100 or a bit more, at least they still taste good though as long as you don't get an out-of-date one. You've got to be very careful with the sell-by dates on Villa stuff, I've had mouldy Yorkies pies and lasagne with a nice green coating (Homework, or something similar, brand?). Took the lasagne back the next day and they refunded the price with no problem... then I watched the lad go and put it back on the display! negreanu
I love Villa but you do have to be careful. we ordered 8 australian tenderloins cut to 2 inches each. Over 3k worth Got home opened the pack smelt rotten and when you pressed the meat it just sat their with a hole in it. Scary thing is it was the "Butcher" who opened the pack and cut the steaks. Took them back fresh pack brought down from upstairs and many apologies... Been caught out at Villa with best before dates on many occasions now.
