Bureaucrats told to better balance Pattaya tourism, environment

PATTAYA:--Pattaya bureaucrats were told they must do more to mitigate the impact of tourism and industry on the environment at a two-day seminar organized by the city and Burapha University.

Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and the city’s two deputy permanent secretaries led civil servants to Hotel J for the required April 22-23 workshop entitled “Development of Potential and Visions

Lectures from Burapha professors covered development of a tourism-based economy, environment impact and infrastructure management.
