Double Entry !

Recommended Posts

Hello

i have a double entry visa that i got from my the thai embassy in my country (Lebanon)

when i arrived to Thailand they gave me 2 months

my question is, is it possible to go to the immigration and extend it 1 more month and pay the fee when the 2 months are due

and then after that month i leave the country to a neighbor country and re-enter with the 2nd one

and then do the whole 1 month extension after the 2 months due again ?

is that possible ?

or how does it work if i'm a Lebanese citizen ?

thank you in advance

Yes, you can extend each entry into Thailand by 30 days by visiting an immigration office and paying 1,900 baht.

But check the expiry date on the visa itself, is should say something like must be utilized before **-**-2013. You must make both entries on your visa before that date!

Check the requirements for entering the neighboring countries with your passport.

Your visa or you permitted to stay stamp obtained on entry at airport expires on May 26th. If it is actually your visa use before date you need to make a border crossing return before that date to get you second 60 day entry.

so i cant extend it for 1 month in here ?

my only option is to do a border run and get my next 60 days ?

You still have not answered the question - your visa or your permitted to stay expires on the 26th? That is important as if it is your visa an extension now would only provide you a couple of weeks or less stay (depending on when your current stay expires) so might be better to just make a border run for second entry and extend that if needed. If you provide exact date it is much easier to provide a customized answer.

What day did you enter Thailand and permitted to stay until what date?

What is the use before date entered on the visa from Consulate?

In that case you can extend 30 days now until the 26th and new 30 days will start on the 27th and you can then exit/return at the end of that time, or anytime before 19 Sep to use your second entry of 60 days which you can also extend 30 days.

Should be no problem, the key issue is that you have proof of onward travel. With your visa valid for Thailand you don't have proof of onward travel, but intend to travel to Thailand again.

Most times this is not a problem when traveling in Asia itself, which airline refused you boarding in BKK to fly to Malaysia?

(The can do it if the flight is overbooked, than they have a reason to deny you boarding without need to pay compensation).

Malaysia immigration does require onward ticket as below warning, but that should not be an issue if you have return to Thailand with you.

Warning:

- Nationals of Lebanon not holding a return/onward ticket

could be either requested to purchase one or refused entry.

what if i want to go to Laos by land .. is it the same ?

should i go with a visa run service company

or whats the best way ?

At land borders they will not check for a ticket out, but that also depends on nationality. Some nationalities attract more attention than others.

yeah typical stereotyping that we will never get rid of in this world

anyways mario & lopburi thanks a lot, you guys were very helpful :)\

i think ill just got with visa run company and avoid the hassle !
