Mother's Day

mothers-day2.jpg

Mother's Day falls on different Days in different countries.

For those Australians living in Thailand

Is the memory of your Mum close?

This Sunday is the day to remember her.

This Sunday is Mother's Day in Australia.

What is the date for Mothers Day for Thailand?

In Thailand it's the Queen's Birthday ... 12th August.

Some people, like my gf's Mother, actually don't know their birthday day so they record it as the 12th August ... the same as the Queen of Thailand.

David 48.

What have you got planned, for Sunday.

Just curious.

When in the Uk.

I used to visit my Mothers house with all the makings of the days culinary delights,

Then proceed to wait on her hand and foot.

Very enjoyable.

She visited Thailand last year and it was much the same.

But for a month.

Mother died in 1978, would be 98 if still here today. I would love to have her hear to talk with. Mother would always listen when I wanted to talk, father not so much. Happy mothers day mom, were ever you spirit might be.

Nothing specifically planned as my Mum went up a fair while ago.

Might have a beer and reverent nod in her particular direction.

I don't have any children, so I'm not a mum, but I'll go visit mother and make supper for her and father in their home this coming Sunday.
