May 10, 201312 yr Get it burnt out! They WILL be back with a venganceSounds a bit drastic. Can you give me more details? That's what corn plasters do. The bit in the middle of the plaster contains salicylic acid which burns the skin - I think it turns white - and after the prescribed time you pinch the dead skin and pull out the root of the corn. Or you can get the liquid form of the acid and paint it on. I think I tried both but preferred the plasters. When I had a load of corns many years ago, I didn't know for sure where they came from, but I remember taking off my flip-flops when visiting a chemist's shop a few days earlier and I reckon I may have walked on someone else's infection. Eeew! I never take my flip-flops off now. Sorry, Thai custom lovers.
