sbk Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 An older video (2008 i think) where people in a small town in Colorado were asked if gay people chose to be gay. And then if they said yes. were then asked,"When did you choose to be straight?" Difficult question to answer after all. 2
lannarebirth Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I'm not sure of the exact day of the month but it was in July of 1967, when Sheila Morgan moved into the house across the street.
sbk Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 And you made a conscious decision to like Sheila instead of say John next door?
sustento Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 It's really a non-question. Who actually gives a monkey's nuts about what strangers think about who you love?
isanbirder Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 It's really a non-question. Who actually gives a monkey's nuts about what strangers think about who you love? A nonsense question, actually, Sustento. We didn't choose; we just were. And I suppose the same applies to the other lot!
lannarebirth Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 And you made a conscious decision to like Sheila instead of say John next door? No contest really.
tominbkk Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 That's a great and positive way to disarm and educate. Kudos, will use.
KED Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I think this is an amazingly effective video for straight people to understand that being gay is not a choice.
Scott Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Thanks for posting the video. Such a simple question which puts so much in perspective.
smokie36 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I never had a sexual thought about another man. Just assumed a gay man never had a sexual thing for any woman. Some meet in the middle I know but most are at the opposite ends aren't they? 1

onthemoon Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Nicely disarming and educating question. I like that.
Naam Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 And you made a conscious decision to like Sheila instead of say John next door? No contest really. was it because John lacked boobs?
somtampet Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 And you made a conscious decision to like Sheila instead of say John next door? Dont bring me into this SBK LOL LOL
somtampet Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 i DONT know whether gays were born that way or not, dont care to be honest.Maybe an all boys school had something to do with it,them strange rituals etc etc. Bi-sexual guys are the demons for me,they caN Spread disease to hetro women and they can transfer to hetro men, unless one uses a condom. I have had gay friends and found them to be decent human beings, but i cant do with kissing in public,it realy makes me wretch. Give me a beautiful Ladies body to a male body anyday, they look much nicer
