May 12, 201313 yr Hi all, was wanting to fly into BKK from Australia for a month but didn't want to buy a return via BKK as I may well be leaving via Phuket, would that be ok or not ??? Chee
May 12, 201313 yr You must have a ticket out of the country within the 30 day entry you will be given. If not the airline can refuse boarding your flight. If you buy your ticket from Phuket to Australia before traveling that would be acceptable.
May 12, 201313 yr You will have no problems at bkk airport. The airline in aus may not let you board without a return ticket though. I have had it happen about 2 months ago but i told them i would be travelling around asia from there, ie going over the boarder by land to continue my holiday and it was ok.
May 12, 201313 yr To prevent the possibility of being denied boarding in Australia - and if you still prefer to purchase your return ticket within Thailand, I suggest you get a single entry tourist visa.

Yes all good advice - I am about to return from the UK all set with a Non Immigrant 12 month Multiple Entry but I still checked with Thai Air at Heathrow - no problem with my visa but would have been on a 30 day tourist so always best to check with the aitline as they can refuse you boarding at departure. BTW I like the T shirt and yes I do know lol
