Does anyone know if there are any laws governing the import of power tools into thailand

I plan to take my old festool circular saw with me in my suitcase next time i fly with emirates thanks to their generous baggage allowance, i do plan to use it myself but i can gift wrap it as a present for the gfs father ??

When i saw your headline i thought you had misspell't fools .

Yes you can bring bring tools just watch the weight.

Good tools are hard to find here and are expensive

Might have a problem if you are just using carry-on baggage...............tongue.png

(Would love to see their faces with that coming up in the x-ray machine!

Good saw that festool ric. I use it hooked up to the track system for cutting cement sheeting. After 10 years, no issues.

Just make sure it works off 220V 50Hz.

//edit - just saw the OP used the term 'mate' so either GB or Australia so won't be a problem.
