expatman
I had to reformat my Windows 7 partition to get rid of a nasty virus. Installed Windows 7 again, but now the wifi adapter is not recognized and cannot connect to Internet. Luckily I still have my WindowsXP partition working, but how to get Internet back for Win 7 ? rkdrkd
Let us help this man. ================ First thing - Check the model no of this PC/laptop, so that you can identify the WLAN adapator and download the driver
sumrit
I had to do the same a few months ago. I've got a Samsung RF711 that's a fairly high spec and it came with a Windows 7 disc. I'd spent a week unsuccessfully trying to get rid of a virus and couldn't do a normal recovery so, thinking all the drivers would be on the disc, I reinstalled from it. I ended up with just a VERY basic windows 7 system. Thinking I'd been given the wrong disc I contacted Currys, where I'd bought the laptop, but they told me a basic disc was all that was supplied and i'd have to download all the drivers from the Samsung website. Now to reinstall eveything, but at least all the junk is cleaned out !

Chicog
As I said in another post, I've had good experience of Slimdrivers. (Free, but there is a pro version).
bangkokburning
Id be interested in how well Slimdrivers works. I have my doubts. Desktop, hell W7 has everything you need. An 8yo Gateway laptop, have doubts. I just dlld all the drivers I need and keep them on the same usb as the bootable OS. iso
