May 14, 201313 yr I went to the Tesco Lotus at chumphon today on the way home from Phuket, Immigration were there doing the mobile service, my wife and I asked about doing my 90 day report because we weren't sure if the postal report I sent in before going to Phuket had arrived at home or not, one of the officers informed us that the 90 day report can now be done at Chumphon every day. The officer gave the following instructions, as you head out of Chumphon toward Ranong, go over the overpass and take the exit to go north toward Bangkok and the office is just on the left near the the 7/11. Make it much easier than needing to post the form to Ranong, go to Ranong or wait for the second or fourth tuesday of each month at Tesco.
May 14, 201313 yr whats so hard about posting the form. I have done so without any problems ever since 90 reporting was allowed by mail. In fact I fill in 4 forms in advance each year complete with passport copies and a stamped addressed envelopes and put them in four different envelopes. Put the date they are to be sent and send my maid to the post office four times a year. So why all this drama about 90 day reports?.

So why all this drama about 90 day reports?.Nothing wrong with doing the forms, I will have to get the address for posting to the Chumphon office, plus if I happen to be in a position where the form I posted gets lost in the mail (happened before) I won't need to go to Ranong or contact the Ranong office, I can save a two hour drive and do it locally.
May 15, 201313 yr I dont trust the Thai PO with important stuff like 90 reporting, more reliable to go in person for a thirty minute slot every three months.
May 15, 201313 yr You are supposed to mail it by registered mail. Never had a problem with reporting by mail.
May 15, 201313 yr you have to send it by registered post and that is proof you sent it. They say that if you have not received it back in one months after date to phone them. But that has never happened
May 15, 201313 yr Author I took a drive past this evening, nothing next to the 7/11 heading out of town toward Bangkok, but there is a new building that looks like an office on the way back into Chumphon from the north, opposite the 7/11 that had a black ute with the police emblem on the door next to it.
