hello not sure where to post this so i leave it up to the lovely mods to move it if needed

i want to post a package from Mukdahan to Huahin and prefer that it stays cooled al the time

i see a van parked in mukdahan fully equipped with cooling units and freezer like doors so i guess it is possible

i try to find prices and such on their website no luck send emails many times never got a reply

my thai language skills are not up to level as to talk to the driver of that van , he keeps sending me to the post office ,and there it seems they have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about ( do not tell me learn to speak thai very good please)

any help welcome

kind regards

Meatsmoking farang in Mukdahan ( hey it rhymes)

Don't you know any Thai people that can help interpret for you?

If not, I'd get to work on that right away if you're not willing or able to learn the language but live out there!

If nothing else you should be able to hire someone for say B100 per hour, just put notices up at the local tertiary and language schools. . .

But you really don't have friends, family with decent enough English? Sit down with Google Translate for a bit until they have a clear idea of what you want and then go over to the office with you?

about me not having friends , i do have and they want to help also , but stubborn as i am i will try myself before i cry help to my friends

Not my intention at all, you're "crying help" from strangers on the Internet aren't you? Well turns out we're happy to help if we can and that's all we're trying to do, your friends and family will be happy to do so as well, shouldn't see it as admitting weakness.

And I never implied anything about your English, seems fine to me too, just meant to get help from a Thai to get your questions answered by people that can actually help you get stuff done. . .

To me it's very important to tap into local knowledge, no way anyone can make a go of it here without helpful friends and allies.

If you're not willing to get help for something this basic, what about the complicated stuff?

PS Dry ice can be shipped to you just like your smoked meats can be shipped out. . .

Is that not being a bit foolish?

I've found many Thai people who can be very helpful in situations where I needed someone to speak Thai. Better than struggling as you seem to be and asking others on a forum to help. When they make a reasonable suggestion, you accuse them of trolling instead of simply saying thanks for the idea.

I could try to google for you but English results would be limited.

Get a Thai + google translate to help you down at your local internet shop, either asking a friend a favor (god forbid!) or a local kid will probably do it in exchange for an ice cream.
