Does anyone know the best option for a multiple entry Tourist Visa issued in Canada? Is there a Thai Consulate in Vancouver?

Anyone have experience getting long Tourist Visas or Non-Imm O Visas from there?

Thanks!

If you have a reason you should be able to get a one year multiple entry visa from the consulat in Vancouver.

Vancouver is easy. Triple entry tourist visas no problem. They only take in applications in the morning

and pick up same time next day.

The consulate is in a hotel complex you can drive right up to the door. If you are in there more than 10 minutes I would be surprised.

Okay but beware that a triple entry tourist visa will not give you nine months with three 30 day extensions. Check when the visa "must be used before". You may find that you are caught on the last visa if you have extended twice already. You will not be able to use it because it is expired. This happened to me and lots of other people I have since talked to.

Check the dates.

Normally such a visa will have a six month validity so if obtain close to travel time it can be used for almost nine months of stay if that is the intent. Yes final entry must be made before expiration of the visa.

Thanks for input re. triple entry Tourist Visa from Canada.

Can see how if you are able to use the visa right away could get almost nine months with three extensions. My problem was I obtained visa via mail. It was two weeks before I was standing in front of the immigration officer at Suvanabumi. during which time the clock on the expiration of the visa was ticking. Excellent advise though. Thanks for it.

One could get a triple in Vancouver and hop on the plane, activating it the next day, there-by getting almost nine months.

Does anyone have experience arriving with a one way ticket.? Any problems there?

With a visa there is no problem traveling to Thailand on a one way ticket. If the airline check-in staff makes any problems, simply ask them to check with a superior.
