I use the disabled parking at tesco and the family park all the time.

Everybody else does and the 2 wrongs don't make a wight here is just water off a ducks back I'm afraid.

But you guys go ahead and make your 'statements'.

I wouldn't consider a case of hemorrhoids to be a disability. sounds like you are proud of being so inconsiderate. maybe someone will dump a can of paint over your car one of these days as you park your able-bodied bum in a handicapped parking space.

There's only one wrong - inconsiderate parking. And if 'everybody else does' presumably you'd find a space more easily elsewhere?

I don't do it anymore but I used to wait until the able bodied driver that parked in a handicapped spot was out of site. Then, I placed the biggest amount of spit that I could muster on the windshield, where the driver could clearly see it when they got back in the car. It probably didn't alter their behavior but it made me feel good.

Recently I was parked in a regular parking space at Rimping there and when I came out a car was blocking me, in the parking gear and with the doors locked. After waiting a bit a guy in his mid-20's came out with a few Rimping bags and when I asked him "What the F*#%?" in so many words he causally said that he was only there a few minuets. Total disregard for anybody else with an attitude like it was ok.

Does Pistorius use disabled parking? Just wondering.

After killer gets banged up, he won't be driving anywhere.

Its a woman thing: car parking; she wouldnt have got the car in a standard space. Women are actually like parking spaces, normally all the good ones are taken. So, occasionally, when no one"s looking, you have to stick it in a disabled one w00t.gif

"So, occasionally, when no one"s looking, you have to stick it in a disabled one".......I've been known to do the same in Soi Cowboy blink.png

You misunderstand sir. When he bought his car he also bought the road and parking lot as do many folks.

it's a moral one, you can't see it but you know it's there when you park in the disabled bays because the other no-morals lemmings do

The Thais double park on roads so why not park in disabled spaces? They are trying to solve a problem, which is they need to be close to where they are going. When they take a disabled space, or double park, there is no problem, since they are now close to where they need to be.

Disabled parking is a foreign concept, we are not in Kansas anymore.

Appears to be a Thai concept too, given that Thai people put them on Thai land for Thai disabled people to use.

Copy capital innit and makes em look all cool, sophisticated and western like hey.

That must be it, they have disabled parking in order to look cool. Nothing to do with Thailand being party to UN disability convention.

They certainly look after the sidewalks and street access for them hey.

Could I point out that not everyone that is entitled to disabled parking permits is noticeably disabled when you view them walking from their car.

My father has terminal cancer and has back pain when walking longer distances due to the tumour in his pancreas pushing against his nerves in his back.

He was given a parking permit which has really helped. Not least of which is being able to park closer than a mile from the cancer hospital he has to visit regularly.

He hasnt lost his hair (through the treatment anyway), and you wouldn't know the pain he is in just observing him getting out of his car...

So before beinf quick to judge people (which admittedly I used to do the same), maybe take the time to check if they have a permit on display before spitting or throwing paint at the car... or worse still... moaning at the person.....

That being said... im sure people not entitled do still use those spaces... and that is just plain wrong.
