Is today the first day of the latest school term, or what?

Traffic in front of The Pun Pun is unusually heavy this morning...... actually at a stand still in both directions One traffic light about a hundred metres north of me , I can understand, but in the other direction it is probably a kilometer to the next light and that southbound lane is at a standstill also.

Moves then stops like to the timing of a traffic light;

Is it that school in just in or has it something to do with the water conference and possible protests?

Actually, a friend of mine told me yesterday that the government schools have opened.

Yesterday they closed canal road from Huay Keow to 700 year for a while.

He was gonna come out so he could write off his visit to The Pun Pun at gov't expense...... He canceled when he found out we had a hot line and he could get delivery in 30 days of less or its free.

I think the traffic hold up was him saying "stop, go back I just heard it's only identified TV members that get the 10% discount at Pun Pun, so I'm not going nah nah nah nah"

thai school started today... that is the problem... particularly around CMIS/Prince Royal area... but basically around any of the thai schools....

Ya I had to laugh when they were talking about bike paths. I thought of that road in front of Gonzo's.

Actually he cancelled his trip to Thailand. The only guy getting any publicity at all is the President of Tajikistan who appears to be getting around without any serious security detail of any kind. I'm guessing he is the only "world leader" in town as he is the only guy on the Thai news every night.

Yep, school is back this morning. Dropped the young ellow off at 7 am just up from the north end of moat and traffic was heavy. My problem got worse when I whipped down a side soi, rather than try a U turn, to get caught by a woman who lost her confidence to drive through a gap in traffic and managed to block traffic both ways. She just froze. No honking of horns as there would have been in Australia. About 8 cars behind her ended up backing out into a busy road while she was left sitting there in her shiny new car.
