Double Entry In Vientienne

Featured Replies

I've been on a non-B the last 2 years. I have several double-entry tourist visas prior to that... The last one being issued in early 2011 over two years ago.

It's obviously not a case of back-to-back tourist visas, but still maybe enough to warrant them not giving another double-entry? Or will they see the last tourist-visa was in 2011 and I won't have a problem...

Obviously there's no telling for sure, just wondering about people's opinions. I need to decide between a hellish journey to Savannakhet and a slightly less hellish journey to Vientienne.

Thanks for any help here.

Have you had any stays in your home country between your visas? That seems to be one of the things they look for, taking a dim view of a long string of consecutive visas without return to a home country.

Do not believe you will have any problem in Vientiane this time - and maybe not next unless they tell you otherwise this time.

A trip to Savanekhet is not that bad if You fly which is not exspensive, but agreed it is hell on a bus or van. 1 hr. on a plane, depending on where Your from.

From reading previous reports on tourist visa from Vientian I would go to Savankhet if I were you

Would really suck to go to Vientian and get rejected, then you would have to make two journeys

to achieve the one goal.
