It would possibly fit me better, if I can get an extension of stay for a week. Can I get such an extension on top of a now running out extension of stay for 60 days?

Reason of 60 days extension, was, having children with Thai GF.

Thank you.

Leave the country and re-enter OR get a 7 day extension for 1,900 baht from immmigraiton to leave the country. (Take a print-out of your flight details with you to confirm you will be leaving within 7 days).

You overlooked now my Oiginal question, I think? sad.png

Sorry,

Same answer applies however. You can either make a border crossing for some extra time or go to immigration and apply for a 7 day "extension". But take proof with you that you have a ticket out of Thailand within those 7 days, they might ask for it.

Just be warned that this 7extra days extension is not always granted specially when the flight ticket is more then 1 day away. Phuket is one of them where they don't issue the second extension in most cases.

7 day extension is not granted - the extension request is marked as not approved but indeed they do normally provide 7 days to depart in such case.

Thank you for your answers. thumbsup.gif

I made such extensions a couple of times in the years, but never on top, after such a 60 day extension. That was the reason, why I was unsure.

Until now, I was never asked to present a flight ticket, would that time also be a problem, when I, possibly leave TH at a Land border. wink.png

Would it not depend on the discretion of the IO as to whether or not this is "granted"? wink.png

Strictly speaking not. You have the right to file an appeal and get a written decision on that, which is what this 7 day "extension" really is. Of course the appeal doesn't stand a chance, so nobody gets back after 7 days to get the written decision.

A ticket out is not always asked for, but it can be asked for (depending on the office and officer). That is why it is advisable to have with you.
