Hawaiian Sky Chair

I first saw these chairs in Hawaii 10 years ago and always thought they were called Hawaiian sky chairs, some manufactures refer to the as such ??

I would like one off these chairs as they are more comfortable than a hammock when reading.

I can not find them locally but suppliers in the US will ship one to me for a total cost of 300$.

As I will be in the US later this year I can pick one up a lot cheaper.

GREAT chairs and I had two on Maui before I moved over here. Unfortunately I did not ship them over and have regretted it since.

A canvas hammock kinda chair that hangs from the ceiling and supports you very comfortably in a supine position; wooden spreaders keep the chair open and there is even a suspended footrest! They were available in many different colors and my favorite was the naturally colored one that was made from hemp.

It sounds like you are going sooner than I and if you are willing to purchase and ship a couple of them for me, you will be appropriately rewarded.

Well this seems to have a few people interested.

There are hammock chairs made in Thailand and perhaps I can get a local company interested, I will keep you posted.
