If one reads the "Savanna Vagus Casino" site (Savannakhet) you will see that they are offering to facilitate a 12 month Multi Entry Class O Visa, if one has the correct paperwork, Baht and is qualified.

Has anybody succeeded there with this "Service"?

Would be a great Money Saver if true!

You will not get it unless you are married to a Thai or have a Thai child that you have legal custody of.

If you meet these requirements then you can get it without a problem with no financial proof required.

Thanks fellows. I am Married to a Thai Lady and have many, many 12 month, "O" multi visas in the past from my "home" country. Last attempt at Savannakhet Consulate resulted in a 3 month Single Entry "O' Visa. Consular Official, not the counter clerk, stated ; "We only issue 12 month, "O" M to citizens of Laos." I had read the Thai Visa site for Savanna Vagus who claim to be able to obtain this type of Visa for any qualified person (I am). I would like to have first hand knowledge from someone who has in fact obtained this type of Visa via Savanna Vagus.

Thanks from PEP.

There is dozens of reports of obtaining multi entry non immigrant O visa in Savannakhet for marriage to a Thai. Did you provide original Thai marriage certificate/copy; copy of wife ID card and home register? That has been the only requirement other than photo/fee. What is your home country?

Hi everybody,

I will have to renew my non-O married visa end of this month.

I don't have the 400k baht on my bank account. My plan was to go to Savannakhet but a post on this topic worries me. Is it still possible?

Other question: what about Lao immigration to get there?

Cheers

^ Hi.

Question did you do a Search in this Forum ??

There are 100s of post where people (also recently) have gotten a Non-O Multiple at Savannahket without any difficulty (when your paperwork is in order)

Start here: http://www.thaivisa....th-savan-vegas/

Yes, I did a search. That^s how I got here. It's just the post up that worried me.

Understood, maybe a good idea to contact the guys at Savan Vegas and ask (but my guess is, that if your paperwork is in order, you should be able to get it)

I just did my O visa this morning in Savannakhet. And posted the report an hour or so ago. Didn't use Savaan, no reason to use them really ... and I normally use fixers in other countries and for work, but the Consulate at Savannakhet is easy to deal with. As said on here and on my latest report, as long as you have your ORIGINAL wedding certificate to show ... no problem getting a O 12 month/multi visa. 5,000 Baht and done and dusted. Drop off paperwork at 9AM pick up at 2PM next day.

This is the second time I've done it here in Savann. No issues either time.

Lao immigration is easy. Not sure what passport nationally you have, but for me (US) it was easy. Pay 1,500 Baht or 35 USD, fill out application and drove across the bridge. Last year we flew, same process. Easy peasy. Hell, I laughed cause this was the first time I've seen Afghanistan passports approved for visa on arrival (which is the country I work in) and I've never seen those accepted outside of that region. Did make me chuckle. Point is .... Laos immigration is a snap.
