binnsy
What does it mean if you are getting the following when using the dongle? 1/Flashing Blue light 2/Steady Green Light
monty
Depends on the brand of the dongle. True actually sells re-branded dongles from different manufacturers such as Huawei and ZTE. The color coding is usually the same between the different brands, where green normally means 2G (GPRS/Edge) and blue means 3G (WCDMA). Some even have a third color where the green and blue light comes on simultaneously (resulting in sort of a turquoise color) indicating 3.5 or 3.9G (HSDPA +). If I'm not mistaken, on ZTE dongle a flashing LED means there is signal, but not connected, and when the LED is solid on, it is actually connected. With Huawei dongles it's the other way around, When solidly on, signal but not connected, when flashing it's actually connected.
