Are there any gas stations which opens 24hrs on the "airport road"?(after passing the heroine monument..)

Yeah......just look for the bottles half full of gasolene at 40 Bt a bottle.

As I remember it was 2005 was the last time gas stations were open all night. There maybe a few in some areas that are still open late. As KB posted on that thread, it was during the Thaksin era that they started closing early...

Pretty sure that the PTT a couple of kms north of the Heroine's Monument (left side heading to airport) is now open 24 hours again (it wasn't for a while)

It is the one with the 7-11 and a coffee shop (Amazon?)

I went through there around 3am recently on the way to Samui.

Can't be 100% sure - but hope this helps.

I have the same feeling of the PTT station that it's open 24/7. Not 100% sure as I have never visited there during really early hours.

Yeah, that PTT is the only one I can think of that's open 24 hours in that area. You'll see the pump attendants sleeping huddled under blankets after about 2am.
