For countries that Thais can go without visas, see Q: Thai citizen - what countries can visit without visa before travel or you can search the IATA database which is publicly available on a number of websites. Click here or here or here or here to go to such websites.

BTW, Thailand and Russia have signed a visa exemption pact.

Wow :o

vinny how do you know where all these links are? And how do you change the name of it so it's not the actual web address but what you write, like 'here'

You can select any text that you want to associate with an http address. Then click on the "Insert Link" icon above and input the http address. This will underline your selected text and assoicate it with the http address.

If you don't presect an existing text before choosing the "Insert Link" icon, then you will be prompted to put in both the http address and its associated text/title of the webpage.

Actually, I think we should encourage Bensark to test his theory. It means he can get locked up, and that there will be one less idiot walking the street, making life better for everyone.

Go for it Ben, go for it. Your idea will work....trust me!

Hi Mr. Bensark,

Yes, go for it, and your gf would be detected straight away at the Malaysian

Hi -tech online Immigration computers. You would charged as an accomplice.

Both of you would be given Permanent Residence at Malaysia's (Bangkok) Hilton.

No worrry, the Hiltons here are world class...... much much better than Bangkok Hilton.

Very clean, modern, with up to date facilities, good food and good medical facilities.

One more thing, let me know, I can come to visit you once in a while. No problem.

Hi Bensark,

One more friendly advice if you do visit Malaysia.

This is just for general information for all visitors.

" Mere possession of a certain amount of illegal drugs

carries the mandatory death penalty."

By the way, for Thai Passport holders coming to Malaysia,

a 30 days visa would be given on arrival at the immigration counter.

For those staying near the border, and if they use a Border Pass,

they would be given a 7 days visa on arrival.

Same policy applies for Malaysian visitors going into Thailand.

That is, 30 days for Passport holders and 7 days for Border Pass holders.

Somtimes I use the Border Pass and sometimes I use the Passport if I

go beyond the border towns or when I would like to stay longer.

Wow, that is interesting. According to those IATA database websites, my wife who is a Thai national, but is an alien resident of the US, can visit Mexico without a visa. But if she was still a resident of Thailand, she would need a visa. I wonder how many countries make it easier for US resident Thais to travel to their countries.
