I am in dispair. It begins to look as though this country is ungovernable. This is probably because the center of power is alwaysr encircled by a moras of greed regardless of political color who are green with envy and conspiring to oust the goverment so that they can return to their feeding frenzy themselves. Disgusting!

Looks like the blinkers are coming off.

Well you have to admit he has got it partially right this country is ungovernable. But he forgot the rest of the sentence.

How is the global community expected to take Thailand seriously when this clown ? Nah idiot is Deputy PM. Truly unbelievable the stupidity that he puts forward. What's even more incredible is that thai's vote for these xxxxx.

It is incredible that such people get elected but it reflects the system in so many countries. I remember more than five decades ago an obnoxious, loud mouthed Labour MP in Scotland was asked why he was so successful at every election and he answered it wasn't about him as a monkey wearing a Labour rosette would win by a landslide in that constituency.

So it is with Chalerm, he's in a populist party where he's an arse kisser in chief so gets looked after despite having nothing to offer by way of personality, charisma or ability in fact the exact opposite yet not only does he get elected, he is appointed to a very senior role.

People like this do get their comeuppance but it can take a long time and in that time they can do an amazing amount of damage.

Yes and usually errant MPs get reeled in as much as possible by the party disciplinary machinery but it seems to be the exact opposite for Chalerm although the PTP machinery is a committee of one. Mr. T has rapped Chalerm's knuckles in the past so just how far will he be allowed to embarrass this time or put another way when will his usefulness to " the boss " finally run out ?

Somchai, Somboon, Sombat, Somporn, Sompong, Somsak, Siriporn, Sirikiat......That should cover more than 1/2 of the Thai names, which is about right. The way that the government is running this country, I can see how more than 1/2 of its population want to get them out...

Or can it be "S"hinawatra is plotting the oust of this government so he, himself, can come back to govern...the plot thickens...

Maybe it's just "S"om-nan-na for PT's bad governance that they are afraid its own ghost coming back to haunt them....

Anyway, you can alway blame on "S"omtamsmile.png

"discovered that the plotters are the same movements that campaigned against the government of then-PM Thaksin Shinawatra in 2005-2006"

Maybe Dept. PM Pol. Captain Chalerm could ask Mathumbum party leader and MP General Sonthi. Rumour has it that he was the leader of the 2006 coup d'état, and chairman of the military junta after.

More like the Generals "sound a like".

Chalerm full of his usual nonsense, what issue is he trying to divert the public's attention from?

1. Rice mortgage scheme's scandalous losses.

2. Corruption with the proposed purchase of school vans, over 2 million baht each compared to the real price of 800,000 baht for old vans, only 12 seater and low ceilings. A typo in the figures 5555555

3. Doctors protest at Pradit's attempt to help private hospitals and drug companies.

4. Science Ministry's officials anger at The Minister's budget cuts in research.

5. Failure of the talks in the south.

6. The rising price of eggs.

What have I left out?

Yingluck refusal to respond to questions from the Press - ENOUGH!!!! She said and stomped off in a paddy. How dare the press interogate the Government on their populist measures which have been put in to place, only to benefit the peopleblink.png

"Mr. Chalerm also said that the plotters are led by an individual with initial "S"."

Sooty?

Sweep?

The truth is it is a Scotsman who goes by the name Scotty.

Whenever Chalerm gets to close to him he says beam me up and disappears.

The Thai alphabet has 4 S sounding letters in their vocabulary, which one did Chalerm meant?

his is the Thai charade game...one word...sound like...S...

and if he's had a few then every word he speaks begins with "S"

I'd love to hear his understanding of the word "plotting" sounds to me no more than people opposing the current government which they have every right to do - this government need to realise that as every day passes and their incompetence is being exposed ever more every day - more and more Thai people will be seeing them for what they are

I guess plotting the demise of the PTP would be something the Democrat are meeting daily to discuss and they have a member called Suthep Thuagsuban. You know Chalerm may be on to something.

He's accusing some people of doing basically what he and the PTP / Thaksin / the Red Shirts did (and who eventually succeeded in achieving their goal) when the Democrat Party led the government. The hypocrisy in his public statements is so obvious that it makes him and anyone who supports him lack credibility and look silly.

Mr Chalerm, with people like you , as a minister in the Government of Thailand , who in real life, if you only knew , you would not be allowed to be in charge of a pig pen, you are the one of many from the PTP that is the achilles heel of Thailand , there is possibly about seventy thousand with the letter "S" that would like to see you and the PTP drown in a sea of Coc Sh!!t.bah.gif

Ah its Somchai

No, He hopes its Santa Claus
