Changi Looses Is Mantle

Featured Replies

I arrived at Changi yesterday just after 15:00 in Terminal 2, down the escalators into the immigration hall, to face absolutely huge queues. although well managed Singapore style I was still queuing for 50 minutes. No chance of fast track as it doesn't exist there, because they are always so so quick. Speaking to the Customs agent and also my limo driver, its getting that way every day between 14:00-17:00

"Changi Looses Is Mantle"

I assume this is meant to be "Changi loses its mantle," but am not sure in what mantle it was enveloped before it was lost.

I flew onto Changi a couple of weeks ago, arrived at around 3pm, was no wait at all. It is till a very well organized and pleasant airport compared to most.

Changi is a great airport, one success is that the locals have their own access booth -self serve and out you go,

also business people with the smart cards or access cards which eliminates the long cues.

I also came through Changi yesterday. I arrived at 8pm and was through immigration in less than 5 minutes. I went into the city, had a great meal and walk around the city. Returned to the airport at 2am and snoozed on one of their comfortable lounge sofas untill my 7am departure for BKK.

For me..Changi and Inchon share honers for top airport anywhere.
