PC800 Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I bought a new Honda 125i a few weeks ago, and the 2nd gear makes a loud whine, almost like a siren. The Mityon dealer where I bought it, and an 2nd Mityon dealer both said "it's normal." I always thought a gear whine was a bad gear, or insufficient lubrication. My 3 year old 125i did not have this problem. One service manager said the new model has a new clutch. One service manager admitted others have complained, but he can't do anything about it because there's no service bulletin on it. Will I have to worry down the line when my 2nd gear goes out, just after the warranty expires? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
