"Orbit" downloader has a feature that helps you to download "streaming-only" videos.

"JDownloader" is more complete.

For very difficult sites, "URLSnooper2" and HTTPripper can help.

Once you have the file downloaded then you probably will need to convert it, depending on what players you have installed on your computer, VLC is pretty complete.

If you want to burn onto a regular video DVD so you don't need to tie up a computer to watch it "ConvertXtoDVD" is a good one.

Some of the more specialized programs aren't free, but you can google for cracked versions just make sure you've got a good A/V and anti-spyware running.

Also most western cities with SE Asian populations will have a section at the back of the grocery store where they rent all all the latest shows, soap episodes etc, often available within hours of them being shown back in Thailand.

Well to be honest, it gives me time, lots of time, to watch what I want on the t.v., while she watches on the laptop in the room. I dont know how we survived when we had to share the tv, none stop arguing: ya see the problem was communication.....too much communication!!
