Central Festival scheduled for November opening

Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN) announced that the construction of its 22nd shopping mall, CentralFestival Chiangmai, was now over 50% complete, and confirmed to open this largest and most modern lifestyle-shopping complex of Northern Thailand this November.

Mr. Kobchai Chirathivat, President & CEO of CPN, said, “CentralFestival Chiangmai is CPN’s big project in Northern Thailand, and it will help us establish a strong foothold in the region. CentralFestival Chiangmai will become the most modern and complete lifestyle-shopping complex in Northern Thailand with the widest range of products and services. Constructed with a budget of over six billion baht, the project is situated on one of the best locations on the superhighway, around the intersection near the Juvenile Court, which connects the central northern community and surrounding provinces. The area is a new residential area that is rapidly growing. Located on an area of 70 Rais, the project has a total space of 250,000 square meters. The six-story shopping complex will be distinguished in its design under the theme of Futuristic Lanna, which combines modern architecture and local culture. The complex is also equipped with energy-saving, environmentally friendly technology.”

The shopping complex features Central FoodHall, PowerBuy, SuperSports, B2S, OfficeMate, more than 300 shops of brands from around the world, and 60 indoor and outdoor lifestyle restaurants, together with ten world-class Major Cineplex theaters, an IMAX 3D theater, an ice-skating rink, fitness centers, and the Fun Planet amusement park.
