Shopping Centres South of the airport.

Featured Replies

I'm about to move to the edge of the known world, (to me at least) and need to find out what shopping centres and any stores of interest can be found south of the airport, heading towards Hang Dong. My new place will be in Suthep, near Canal Rd.

Sadly, Greenside's Map seems to stop providing information once I'm past Airport Plaza.

Yes, I'll get out and explore, and can see there's Tesco, Big C, Home Pro to start with.

Have Rimpings ventured into this region as yet?

All suggestions welcome (polite ones that is) and if you have a Google Earth map reference, even better.

PS anyone wants to rent a nice house, surrounded by dogs, just let me know!! Latest count is 8 + 1 soi dog. w00t.gif

Big C Hang Dong will be 15 km South of Airport Plaza. And it is a small Big C. Never crowded, easy parking under. But not nearly the variety for sale as other full sized Big C's.

I had heard there was a Rimping Market there but a small one.

New Rimping at Mae Hia market.

There is a Rimping at Kad Farang on the Hang Dong Road. It's quite small though but it will be developed into a much larger store in the coming ..... months/years..... anybody's guess really.
