I used to copy and paste a youtube URL and the video used to appear in my post. Now just the URL appears. Is it me or is it TV that's changed?

It needs to be in the format http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= then the video id such as kE9_A-_LlKM, the longer urls they sometimes give will not work automatically

As far as I can see that's the format in this post of mine but all I get is the URL

I repasted it in text mode and it works ok

I've had the same problem since the last software update and asked here about it.

If you simply copy and paste the url without using the special toolbar above ... it works ...

But if you use the toolbar with the chain link with the green circle with the white cross inside

it appears like this ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kSg_nf6KiI&feature=player_embedded

... go figure!

That posts it as a web link rather than media content. Thats why text mode works instead of rich text editor

I just copied and pasted it from youtube. It worked before the latest update. It doesn't seem to work now without reverting to text mode.

Still having the same problem. If you look in the following thread you'll see that the majority of copy and pastes give the URL whereas one or two actually give the video. I copied and pasted them all the same. Why are the vids not showing properly?

Sorry - here's the thread. I'm doing nothing different to what I was doing before. Can someone explain exactly whixh buttons I needs to press to see the vid rather than the URL?

I've just copied and pasted that URL directly from Youtube. It isn't working for me.
