This happens when a poster quotes posts and the quotes are not closed correctly. It can happen if the quote functions doesn't work correctly, or if the poster by mistake deletes some of the "close quotes" and thereby messes up the post.

Had the quotes been closed correctly the posts would appear like this instead:



Of course, there should be some quoted text as well, but you didn't include that in your post.
