Nice and simple, next year I am going to get and use non imm O multi entry visa, currently on year extension based on marriage.

Reason is I am going to use the 400K for other things, and won't be able to replace it quick.

As I will be living near the Laos boarder, I would use this crossing for 90 day run.(Mukdahan)

So question what is cost of entering Laos for say 1 day?

Is entry granted on a, similar, 30/15 day style tourist exemption like arriving in Thailand?

A non-immigrant O visa entry into Thailand will always be 90 days regardless of how entry is made. There is no charge to enter Thailand, just the normal entry form, if that is what you are asking.

You get a visa on arrival for Laos that cost about $35 or 1500 baht. But actual price will depend upon your nationality.

Cost to cross the bridge and return is not much. You get on the bus to Savannakhet at Mukdahan bus station that will take you all the way into the city and then can take it back to Mukdahan.

You can also get your multiple entry O visa in Savannakhet at the Thai consulate there.

$36 on Sat or Sun. $35 during the week. Have the correct amount and perfect condition notes. I have had problems.

Thanks, I am a Brit, we are building in Loeng Nok Tha, San Ming. Some 60km from Mukdahan, hence choosing this place to cross.

As stated I am on year extension based on marriage, expires 28th May 2014, at which point I need to return to UK for some 6 weeks, I won't get an exit permit, so I will return on a multi O, and carry on from that point.

Hence the question on cost/requirements to enter in to Laos, and return on same day with my next 90 day entry.

When I need to obtain my next muti O I will do so I Laos, 2015, so along as it is still possible.

If I am still a resident of earth, ect ect
