New Business Cards. Need Printer In Chiang Mai. Must Be Classy!

Featured Replies

Hi!

I need new business cards printed in Chiang Mai, probably no different than many of you.

After many years of printing cards in Asia, I get tired of having them screwed up by problems with English typos time after time, plus just pispoor printing, as well as poor QC and all the other things that usually happen as some printers in Asia.

I am no American Psycho who needs exquisitely fine work, something to brag to my fellows about.

I just need cards that look like they were printed by pros, in the UK, or in NYC.

Maybe if they look like they were printed for a UK bank customer then this will be OK.

But I have a problem too. I do not need large quantities so this will effect the type of printing process used.

Offset printing looks cool.

But when the quantities are down around 300 or 500 then they often look crappy.

I may also need graphics design for reproducing a logo.

Paper choice: Good paper is always nice.

So any thoughts?

Thanks!

I do not wish to be embarrassed by my cards.

And I don't want to need to make repeated trips back to the printer to correct mistakes.

Probably using some internet printing company might be better?

But I would rather do it in Chiang Mai if there is a good choice.

Wait till you get your super duper PC from Taiwan and do them yourself.

Just a thought .

A thought, yes, but too many typos?

I could do the artwork easily on this laptop using photoshop, or the gimp, but printing without a printer might be a problem, and then paper, not to mention cutting at a 90 degree angle on so many cards without a good paper cutter. Probably a nightmare waiting to happen.

Still the logo artwork and the copy of course I can email to the printer, and probably will.

Thanks!

With regard to the quality of business cards I am seeking, I mentioned above I am not seeking American Psycho Perfection.

But if you have the time, and look at this video, then at around 1:00 of the following video, you can see some nice business card samples.

I would not refuse this quality but I also don't want to pay that much.

That would be overKILL.

Thanks!

If you Face the Three Kings Monument. There is on the right hand side a large Printing Shop about three stories high, which will make as you ask and will Plastic Coat the finished card.

Cheap and good service.

Rather than a printer, how about a photo studio? YOU create the card you want on your own computer. Chose the background graphic, the type face, layout, etc., etc., using Photoshop or something similar, and bring it to a photo printer on a CD. I used to use the shop just east of Changklan Rd on Sridonchi, opposite the hotel. They would print up any quantity I wanted on photo glossy paper and the price was right. No typos. No paper problem. No worries.

Basement at Kad Suan Keow. 10 metres from TOPS is a guy who does many expat cards, choose your logo, flag, English on one side, Thai on the other.
